• Free Musicians Classifieds & Free Bands Classifieds ! There's a clue in the title! ;-) For anyone who is wondering what this site is all about, we are a musicians classifieds site. Hopefully you might find that one band you've been looking to join, or if your band needs a new member, you might find them here! I did! • Private Messaging System Just create an account and start viewing! Send emails to users using the 'private message' system, where the website forwards the message to the users email address! This way, all users are protected from email harvesting spam bots! • Free MP3 uploads! This new version of M4B.COM is constantly expanding with more features! The music track upload/download section is now back working again! the music forums are also up and working! Please note that I had to take the old guestbook offline cos so many bots were spamming it, it was untrue! Well, this is a long time coming! I finally got round to finishing the code for the new site...so here it is! Website History Thursday 31th August 2006 MP3 uploads are working again, this time there is a 7mb limit and you can upload multiple tracks!!! Thursday 17th August 2006 New version goes live, please report any bugs in the forum! Thursday 13th July 2006 Website under construction, working on getting the old code/content migrated to this new version. Hopefully it won't take too long! Hope you like the look of the new site ;-) Monday 5th September 2005 Finally finished the forum code, just needs touching up! Get posting... Thursday 1st September 2005 Fixed a problem with the system logging people out just after they created/altered their account details! Sorry folks, its working now. Also added an authorisation code check for creating an account (to stop any robots generating user accounts!). Thursday 25th August 2005 Fixed a problem with the messaging system, some messages were getting sent to the wrong recipients... sorry! I've now implemented a link in each private message so you can reply to the user who sent it! And all the while, no email addresses are exchanged (unless you wish to share your email addresses with each other that is!) Saturday 20th August 2005 Added a reviews section for the gigs and MP3's! You can even give a 'star rating' out of 5 stars! Cool! Thursday 18th August 2005 Yey! Music UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD is working! I've enabled it for everyone now, any bugs or errors let me know... there is a 2meg file size limit at the moment, though I'm working on a way to increase this to 8meg, shouldn't be to long. Anyway get uploading some demo tracks!! Friday 12th August 2005 Just about finished the music track (mp3) file upload/download/stream code. I'm trying to get it online on Monday 15th August if possible! wehay! Fingers crossed... Tuesday 9th August 2005 Whoops, just found a strange bug that wasn't logging people in after they created an account! sorry, but its fixed now...also the music download section is 99% working, just needs finalising then I'll activate it! Should be good, I hope... Friday 5th August 2005 Fixed a couple more minor bugs, one which made the 'my account' page display funny. Also added more search options for gigs, and a country recogniser! which, when you are logged in, defaults the country in all searches to your country...neat eh? Tuesday 2nd August 2005 Well, done some more minor updates. The gig section now allows for several different types of gig/show such as Concert, Jam Session, Audition, Music Expo and even 'Pub Gig'!! ;-) I'm gonna try and get some more countries listed on here soon, also the music download section is nearly ready! Wednesday 27th July 2005 Just done some minor updates to various things, as you do! ;-) preparing for the music upload/download section to come online...also added a html filter, which should stop bots spamming and leaving their crap! Tuesday 26th July 2005 Hi there, the new look site goes online and the old is removed! looks a bit different to the one in Jan 2003 eh? I just hope it works as good for people...well, as soon as I finish the email code, you can tell me! ;-) January 2003 Website goes live!
